Corny movie lines: Now discuss

A BBC survey of 2,000 moviegoers has determined the corniest lines in film history ...

For the purpose of fostering a marketplace of ideas, feel free to add any particularly cheesy ones you think were overlooked by the Brits ...

For example, how can you leave out Charlton Heston groaning that "Soylent Green is people! It's pee-pollll!" (Of course, in a nation where people scarf down haggis, soylent green might not be so bad).

Not necessarily cheesy, but memorable...

"Get your filthy paws off me you damn dirty ape!" - Charlton Heston, "Planet of the Apes"

----

"It's a mad house! A maaaaad house!" - Heston, "Apes"

----

Clergyman: I was interested to see a Bible by your bed. You actually find time to read it?
Patton: I sure do. Every goddamn day.

I thought the point was to add corny lines, NOT memoriable ones. Chase, please ask the responders to follow the directions.

Titanic, king of the world has to be the worst

I remember (vaguely) when I was a child back in the '70s going to see a movie that we THOUGHT was about Herbie the Love Bug. Instead it was some other car, and the oft repeated and very annoying line was, "Don't worry. Doo Doo can do it all right." Anyone else remember that? What was that, anyway?

I agree that the line from Patton was more memorable than corny, but Heston in Planet of the Apes? Corn corn corny. Hello!!

Heston, corny?

I use that "paws" line all the time to great dramatic effect in meetings with clients... and pretty much every day I scream out the "mad house" line in my office, because, well, it is a maaaaad house!

Well, since no one really got going on this (shame on you!), let me offer one: "Love means never having to say you're sorry." - Love Story
