The Lizard King Goes to School
Long before Jim Morrison, God bless 'im, dissolved into a self-destructive blur of peyote trips, roadhouse blues and letting lil' Jim out for a breather in Miami, the head Door was a freshly scrubbed young man who had dreams of going to a gosh-darn good college.
Here's a nifty treat for any Doors fans out there: A recently unearthed promotional film for Florida State University features a young Jim Morrison, who attended the school back in the early '60s.

I was with Jim back then and he tried to set my tie on fire. That's were the line try to set the night on fire comes from.. True story
