L.A. Law

Wesley Snipes is suing New Line cinema over the third, and apparently final, installment of the Blade franchise, Blade: Trinity. Snipes, who starred in the movie, contends in court papers that the movie sucked.

Hmmm. We just got an idea for a kick-ass class-action lawsuit.

Rob Schneider, we'll be contacting your lawyer ...

Well, yes, it sucked like a vampire, particularly if you happened to be Wesley Snipes. By all accounts, he was a pain in the ass on the set, did not want to be there in the first place, and the story was written as a springboard for a Ryan Reynolds/Jessica Biel franchise. Reynolds, playing his Nightstalker Hannibal King as if he were Fletch the Vampire Slayer, walked away with the movie, and it didn't take much, because Snipes wasn't trying. "Nightstalkers" is not up on Imdb yet, but both Reynolds and Biel have it in their contracts.
