Alabama Judges Need Help

First then-Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore posted the Ten Commandments in a monument outside the high court.

Now, another Alabama judge is wearing the Ten Commandments on his robe.

We're starting to think that maybe the insistence of 'Bama judges on posting the Ten Commandments everywhere has less to do with a symbolic statement and more to do with the possibility that maybe these butt-scratchin', banjo-pickin', tooth-lackin' yahoos jus' caint 'member 'em all. After all, there's 10 of 'em!

I wonder: do these guys include the prohibition on idolatry? They seem to be turning the Big Ten into a pagan idol!

Good thing these judges aren't Jewish. They'd have to deal with 613 commandments. A mere ten is nothing. Maybe their point is: we don't have the moral fiber to obey very many commandments, so we'll try to work with a few ... ten, yeah, that's a good number.

Do you think this judge will wear the commandments on his shoulders like how Judge Rehnquist put stripes on his own robe? The 'Bama judge could look to right for Commandments 1-5 and to the left for Commandments 6-10-- sorta like a cheat sheet.
