A 39ish-year-old freelance journalist and writer living with his wife and baby daughter in the hardscrabble environs of Oklahoma, Chase McInerney now spends much of his time frozen in stark, cold sweat-inducing, gut-percolating fear. OK, looks like my hopes have been dashed. It now appears that Bobbi Parker actually was taken against her will and is reuniting with her family. Oh, well ... it was a beautiful dream while it lasted.

Oh...come on. For 10 years she couldn't get away from him once? Couldn't call or write or anything? I'll say this...if that guy could be awake before her and asleep after her and never get sick or lose his grip on her for an entire decade, he's got a best-selling health book to write.
I was waiting for someone to say that
someone's got some splainin to do.
If you knew her you would know that she was taken against her will and her children and husband were used to keep her there. She was afaid for her girls and obviously there is proof since the FBI has also said so. Bobbi and I went to high school together and then moved to the same town years ago and she is an awesome person with high morals and a true love of family. She loves her husband and girls very much.
I read the book by Mr. Sasser and
thought it hysterical that Dial went to the book signing, got an autograph
and the author didn't even recognize him.
Sasser sounds a little nutsy too.
Hmmm...let's see.
He never took her anywhere, she did most of the work, grocery shopping,
there was never any romance and they had separate rooms.
Sounds like marriage to me.
To anonymous..... who attended high school with Bobbi Parker, obiviously doesn't know too much about her(Bobbi Parker's) high morals considering the time it takes to make a phone call, get an(FBI) helicopter up and children to a protective location...come on..she lost her high morals when she agreed to work beside him. She wasn't an employee of the Correctional facility,her husband was.And any man that would let his wife participates within the system that contains many potiental threats to himself or family is just as clueless as the people that think poor 'lil Bobbi was forced to go along and should check again to see why the little yellow school bus is late picking them up.The only way I work for Chicken Scraps would be for my children and to feed them.
