Kudos to Jon Stewart. Not only has "America: The Book" had a long and healthy stint atop the New York Times bestseller list, but now Publisher's Weekly has named it "Book of the Year." Smart, satirical and even funnier than George Will. Woo-hoo!

Yep. He's one of the few bright stars in the media world right now. Who would have guessed that he deals more with the substance of news than "real news" does? His interviews are more often than not very insightful, and he is really at the top of his game when talking with politicians.
